These are the basic terms for using this site and working with Uzunu. If something here doesn't fit your situation, ask before we start.
Services
Uzunu provides practical technology help, including automations, small custom tools, practical AI helpers, and tech consulting for small-business workflows. Every project starts with understanding what you need and whether we can help. If it fits, the work is scoped around the agreed outcome and quoted at a fixed price.
Project scope
Each project's scope is defined in the initial agreement. Additional features or changes outside the agreed scope require a separate agreement and may incur additional costs.
Payment terms
Projects require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining 50% due upon completion. Projects under $1,000 require full payment upfront. All payments are processed through Stripe or bank transfer. Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.
Refund policy
Once work has begun, project payments are not refundable. If you're unhappy with the deliverables, we'll work with you to address concerns within the agreed project scope.
Intellectual property
Upon full payment, you own the custom code, automations, and documentation created specifically for your project. Uzunu may reuse general methods, techniques, and non-specific knowledge gained during the engagement. Any pre-existing intellectual property or reusable components Uzunu brings to the project remain Uzunu's property, but you receive a license to use them as part of your project.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose your business processes, data, or proprietary information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Support and maintenance
Support and maintenance are included only if the project agreement says so. Bugs, updates, and small field or template changes may be covered by a maintenance agreement; larger changes require separate scope and pricing.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination, you pay for all work completed up to the termination date, Uzunu delivers all work completed to that point, and confidentiality obligations survive termination.
Limitations of liability
Uzunu's services are provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. Uzunu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services. Uzunu's total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in California.
Changes to terms
Uzunu may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately when posted on this page.
